According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr news agency: Brigadier-General Kyomarth Heydari, the commander of the army's ground forces, said, referring to the details of the Zulfiqar 1403 joint exercise of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army: While flaunting its unique operational capabilities in the ground combat stage of the Zulfiqar 1403 joint military exercise, the army boasts of the fact that it uses equipment, weapons, tools, and war weapons that are all manufactured by the Ministry of Defense and the Army Ground Forces.

Referring to the evolution of the army's ground forces in the use of modern weapons and equipment, he stated: "The army's ground forces have achieved remarkable achievements in the field of using all kinds of tools, equipment and weapons with continuous and significant progress in recent years."

A successful example of this evolution can be seen in the field of anti-armor missiles, which is currently being used in the ground forces, in addition to missiles such as "Tau", "Dragon" and "Malyutka", completely indigenous missiles and made by domestic experts, "Almas" and "Dehalavieh", twin missiles installed on "M113" personnel carriers, in the organization of the Nazaja combat units.

Mir Brigadier General Heydari further pointed out and emphasized the progress of this force in the field of drones: all the required drone systems are available to the army's ground forces.And this force, in addition to the reconnaissance-surveillance drones "Das Partab", uses the capacity of "Ababil 4", "Ababil 5", "Mohajer 6" and "Arash 2" drones in the structure of its drone battalions. At the same time, the process of training employees and improving their skill levels is being completed in a codified manner and according to international standards.

Referring to the upgrade of the helicopter systems of the Army Ground Forces, the commander of the Army Ground Forces stated: the updating and updating of key systems.Among other things, the development of the night flight technology of Havaniroz helicopters has caused this strategic unit to be able to use all kinds of "Haider" projectiles and "Shafaq" and "Almas" missiles, in order to destroy the enemy's personnel, targets, positions and fortifications, in addition to improving the range of its missiles.

While emphasizing the efforts and planning of the Army Ground Forces to replace the Musaf organizational weapon, he stated: As has been observed in the last two exercises, the Gewehr 3 organizational weapon known as "Zh 3" is being replaced with a fully indigenous and domestically manufactured "Musaf" weapon with a caliber of 7.62, and the process of mass production and delivery to the units is also being carried out and followed up.

 

Brigadier General Amir Heydari continued: In all the weapons and equipment that are now and in the future, which will be assigned to the combat organization of the Army Ground Forces, the four principles of precision, distance, intelligence and network-oriented are taken into consideration so that weapons and equipment can be used in this force that, while competing with the equipment of other countries, help to improve the combat power and develop the deterrence of this force.

In the end, the commander of the army's ground forces pointed out: "The army's ground forces, with their effective, strong and victorious presence in this exercise, have shown that they will not give up any action in order to provide and achieve stable security for the country, and this force is striving day and night to maintain the territorial integrity of the country and ward off any threat against the goals and interests of the country with complementary, continuous and diligent cooperation with the other four forces of the army and the armed forces."
