Ayatollah Khatami: Officials in the Islamic system are obligated to implement divine law

According to Ashura News, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran, stated in his Friday prayer sermons this week that all officials in the Islamic system, from the top to the bottom, are obligated to implement the divine law. Khatami said: The fourth point is regarding the incorrect statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister who said that Iran should stop its regional policy. Our policy is a policy of good neighborliness. We do not intend to quarrel with our neighbors and this is the text of our constitution. These statements of yours are against good neighborliness. He added: "The world is seeing that even now you are interfering in the Syrian government and sending troops to war. You are not ashamed of telling Iran not to interfere and you are interfering.
