Development and growth have a scientific logic/We must create a balance between our consumption and our assets.

According to Ashura News, citing IRNA, Masoud Pezzekian added in a meeting with managers in the southeast of Tehran province this Thursday evening: We should not create unreasonable expectations; we should create a balance between consumption and resources, this is the first step of management.

The President clarified: The words that are in management books today are an interpretation of this sentence of Imam Ali (AS) who says: Know your strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Look at where we were, where we are, and where we want to go. In childhood, they told us that you should reach the principles of religion yourself. Imagine that a person will reach the Day of Judgment himself. In his worldview, a person says that this existence and this life are not irrelevant, and they will ask us tomorrow. Is it possible for a person who sees this way and visualizes the future not to know that there should be a balance and proportion between what he has and what he should consume?

He continued: We should create a balance between supply and demand. It is quite clear how much water is under our feet and how much water comes from the sky, and how far we need to develop. It is unacceptable to close our eyes and grow and then face water, electricity, and gas shortages. In parliament, we wrote a law to provide gas to all villages, but today we do not have gas.

The president clarified: That is, we created expectations and laid pipes, but now we do not have gas. Why did we do this in parliament? The reality is that we must create a balance between our consumption and our assets, and then know what our plan is for continuing with these assets, opportunities, and strengths, and with our weaknesses.

Stating that humans must believe that they should not trust anyone but God, he added: If each of us looks elsewhere to help us solve our problems, we will be stuck. First, we must believe that we can solve our problems ourselves, and then we can find the solution. The future is where we want it to be, not where they want to draw it for us. We ourselves must draw a bright future for ourselves.

pzshkian continued: The vision shown by the leadership is reliable. Have we prepared ourselves for it? Have we tried to reach that peak with our minds, behavior, and actions? We cannot live like this and imagine that we will reach that peak. Today, instead of becoming the first in the region, we see where our neighbors have reached. We must create belief in ourselves.

He noted: We have an imbalance in electricity. The problem in the country today is the imbalance of water, electricity, gas, gasoline, oil, and diesel; because we consume outside of scientific logic. Europe, which has money, does not consume so much gas and electricity; so we must start with ourselves. The first step is to rationalize our consumption, not to turn on 10 lights in a room. Turn on the heater and then sleep in our underwear!

He stated: We are sleeping on a treasure. Our resources are exceptional. First of all, we consume badly. We heat our houses incorrectly. Solving the imbalance is possible with the help of all the people of the country. We must become aware of this and consume it properly.

The President added: Varamin itself experiences 36 centimeters of land subsidence annually. It is unacceptable for someone who believes in the Day of Judgment but does not know the consequences of this subsidence and imbalance. We must sit together and solve the problem. This does not require a law or government order. Today, we are constantly developing and expanding, but we do not have enough water, electricity, and gas. We also do not consume it properly.
