According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that American officials are influenced by Russian propaganda, claiming that his country is trying to reach a ceasefire agreement!

Zelensky says that his goal in a controversial meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance was to eliminate the influence of Russian propaganda in the White House.

Referring to the battle of Moschon, which prevented Moscow from capturing Kiev in the early months of the war, he said: "Our fighters outnumbered (Russians) by 13 in Moschon. This is not propaganda, it is reality."

According to the Times, Trump and Zelensky had been negotiating for weeks on how the United States would gain access to Ukraine's rare mineral resources and signing a mining deal that fell through after a White House row on February 28.

According to Zelensky, he was upset that Trump had made statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin about the encirclement of thousands of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region by Russian forces!

He claimed in this regard: This was a lie. I believe that Russia managed to influence some people in the White House. The signal they gave to the Americans was that the Ukrainians did not want to end the war and that they had to be forced to do so somehow.

The Ukrainian president added: At that moment (the meeting at the White House) there was a feeling that we were no longer united. In that conversation, I was defending the dignity of Ukraine.

Zelensky said that he hopes Trump will understand that Putin is a weak and unreliable man and that if Russia wins, it will be a disaster.
