pezshkian: We are open to dialogue, but we will not compromise on our achievements

According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr reporter, President Masoud Pezshkian, while unveiling the new achievements of the country's nuclear industry, delivered a speech at the National Nuclear Technology Day ceremony, saying: "Repeating some words has the grace to make us act on them; like the prayer we recite and it is for us to act on them."

Referring to parts of God's words in the Quran regarding the words of angels to God regarding the creation of man, he said: God had said to the angels, "I know what you do not know, and I taught Adam all the names, I taught him all knowledge and awareness, and because of his knowledge and wisdom, man was prostrated by the angels."

Stating that our country is a victim of terrorism, the President said: "More than 23,000 of the best people in this country have been assassinated. They are dedicated and knowledgeable people who were supposed to create pride for our country."

Pezshkian added: "Our scientists were assassinated so that there would be no people in this country who could pave the way for the country's progress." In order to prove that we cannot, they assassinate our good people and are unaware that there are many capable people in our country and they cannot bring Iran to its knees by martyring our people.

Emphasizing that we are not looking for an atomic bomb, the President clarified: There is no one higher than the Supreme Leader in our country and he has officially announced that we do not have an atomic bomb. You can verify a thousand times that we do not have an atomic bomb, but we need nuclear science and nuclear energy, others will never meet our needs.

Addressing the attendees at the National Nuclear Technology Day ceremony, the doctors said: We will not remain humiliated and with your help we will try to solve our country's problems. If we had not achieved this level of science, many of our people would have lost their lives due to illness.

The President reminded: We are not looking for war, but we will stand strong against any aggression with the knowledge and power that our scientists have created, and the more they hit us, the more we will gain strength and we will stand firm against any threat they make against us.

Pezshian said: We have declared that we are brothers with all Islamic countries, and this is not a slogan, it is our belief, and we have no political intentions. We consider all our neighboring countries as our brothers and co-religionists, and we want to live with them in peace and brotherhood.

The President addressed the tragedies and massacres of innocent people by the Zionist regime and said: Without considering any humanitarian considerations or international laws, it easily massacres women and men, old and young, and is supported. If we become defenseless, will they defend us? Will they help us, they will bring upon us the same calamity that they are bringing upon innocent people in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Syria?

Pezshkian emphasized: Our scientists will not allow the enemies to have greedy eyes on our country and to implement their goals. The Supreme Leader, whom I have served many times every week, has no objection to American investment in Iran, but rather we oppose their wrong policies because Iran is not a country they want to plot against. They want information from our people and then assassinate them.

The President said: The Supreme Leader said that we are ready to negotiate, but not directly because we do not trust them. It is not possible for them to sanction all our facilities or communications and then say, let's talk to each other, and in this conversation we must accept the issues they want; We are talking, as the Supreme Leader said, indirectly and with dignity and pride, and we will provide any guarantee that we are not looking for a nuclear bomb, which we have reviewed a thousand times.

Referring to the activities of the enemies who call Iran the source of unrest in the region, Pezdikian said: Are we destroying cities and terrorizing? Are we deploying bomber planes in the region? Are we continuing to equip the countries of the region and fighting each other to sell our resources and equipment? Those who claim to be a civilization of security and peace are dragging the world and the region into war and bloodshed.

The President emphasized: We want peace and security and are open to dialogue, but with dignity and pride, we will not compromise on our achievements and will not make deals; we will never allow them to hinder our thinking and innovation, our youth want to show their creativity and there must be a platform to solve the country's problems.

Referring to the importance of the efforts and achievements of our country's young scientists and martyrs and praising them, Pezizian said: Those who become martyrs in the path of truth are immortal. We are grateful to all our martyrs, the Iranian people are standing strong. The analysis of the West is that Iran is in its weakest position, and this is one of those analyses that always turn out to be wrong.

The President, stating that our country has no internal differences regarding the dignity and territorial integrity of our country, clarified: If there are differences within the country in any field, we have no differences regarding the dignity and territorial integrity of our country, and the people of our country will stand strong in this regard and defend their own land, and we will put aside any differences that may exist.

Pezizian pointed to the greed of the enemies and added: The greed that the enemy thinks that they can engage with us is a false idea. Imam Khomeini (may Allah have mercy on him) had said that they might be able to attack us, but when they want to come down, can they live with these people? The people of our country will not allow foreigners and aggressors to be present.

The President said: Our Iran has never been a colony of foreigners because our people did not and will not allow foreigners to behave this way. May God help us to move towards the progress of the country under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, and if others also want peace and tranquility, we are on the same path and provide the assurance that is necessary in the dialogue program to remove sanctions. They are threatening and we are reacting to it. I am sure that we will solve the problems ahead.

Pezizkian said: God willing, on Saturday, Mr. Araqchi will hold talks with US representatives with the recommendations of the indirect leadership, and our position on specific issues that the Supreme Leader has repeatedly reiterated is clear and firm. The dialogue will take shape and around the divine power, honor and pride in our country will increase day by day with unity and cohesion.

Addressing the families of the nuclear martyrs, the President said: As an Iranian, I am proud that we have such loved ones, the martyrs are the pride of our country; may God grant us the success to strive with all our might for the honor and pride of our country and to succeed.
