Syria's riches in Quneitra under the Zionist boots; the deep sleep of the "Jolani" regime

In the shadow of international silence and the suspicious passivity of the terrorist Golani regime, the Zionists have confiscated the Quneitra province in southern Syria and the natural resources and wealth of this strategic region for their own benefit.

According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, the Zionist regime, taking advantage of the region and the world's preoccupation with developments in Gaza and Lebanon, is rapidly consolidating and expanding its occupation in Syria, and the Quneitra province in southwestern Syria, namely the Golan Heights, is an important target of the Zionist regime.

Rapid Zionist occupation in Syria

A few hours after the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government, the Zionist regime sent its troops to the buffer zone in the Golan Heights, most of which it had occupied since 1967, and announced that the non-aggression agreement with Syria, which was signed in 1974, had been canceled. Immediately after the disbanded Syrian army withdrew from Mount Hermon, the occupying forces began to establish military and fixed points on Mount Hermon on the Syrian side and penetrated to a depth of about 4 kilometers along the border strip with the occupied Golan, which is 76 kilometers long.

In recent weeks, many reports have been published about the aggressive and occupationist movements of the Zionists in Quneitra, and Syrian citizens, sharply criticizing Abu Muhammad al-Julani for his suspicious passivity and silence in the face of the Zionist regime’s occupation, report that the regime’s soldiers have taken all the Syrians’ weapons from them and are doing whatever they want in Quneitra, including attacking people’s homes and establishing martial law.

A source in the media management of Quneitra province announced in this regard that the Israeli army has deployed at 8 points along the border strip and has occupied the cities and villages of Al-Hamidiyah, Al-Rawidi, Rasm Za’l, Rasm al-Shara’, Rasm al-Shuli and Al-Qahtaniyah.

The Zionist occupying forces have also cut off the connection between the various cities of Quneitra province, so that residents are forced to take long and difficult detours to reach the cities. In addition, a curfew has been announced for residents of areas that have refused to cooperate with the Zionist military.

Strategic points in southern Syria that are under Zionist occupation

The new military points of the Zionist regime in Quneitra include the following:

*Mount Hermon

*Erna Peak on top of Mount Hermon; where its roads have been paved and military barracks of the Zionist army have been built there.

*Red Hills to the east of the city of Hadar; where, after the withdrawal of Russian forces from there following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government; the Zionist military entered it and began to establish a military garrison to control and monitor the surrounding areas.

*Northwest of the city of Hadar on the slopes of Mount Hermon, which overlooks the border strip and a large part of the northern suburbs of Quneitra.

*Jabata al-Khashab near the agricultural tower in the protected area, which has a helicopter pad, observation posts and a new road to the border areas.

*Adnaniya area near the Al-Muntarah Dam on a high hill where the occupying regime has begun to militarize.

*Inside the destroyed city of Quneitra near the Quneitra tower.

*Tel Ahmar southwest of the town of Kodna, overlooking the southern outskirts of Quneitra and a large part of the western outskirts of Daraa province.

*North of the town of Al-Hamidiyah, where the Zionist military has begun to militarize.

The brutality of the occupiers in Quneitra

Local sources report that the Zionist soldiers have demolished some buildings outside the governorate headquarters, bulldozed the land, uprooted trees, and set fire to vehicles belonging to the governorate. The interior of Quneitra province is full of chaos and destruction under the shadow of the Zionist aggression and occupation, and the occupying regime soldiers have broken and destroyed furniture, tables, window panes, and all the equipment in the governorate, and have written things in Hebrew on the walls of the building.

According to these reports, the Zionist soldiers sit inside the governorate buildings with brutal behavior and after eating and drinking, they throw the remains of their food at the doors and walls. In the area around the governorate building, the effects of the fires that the Zionist soldiers have started with the aim of destroying documents and files related to the governorate are clearly visible, and the occupiers have also set fire to computers. The occupying forces also set fire to a significant number of vehicles.

Civil defense teams and other relevant institutions in Syria have launched a clean-up operation to eliminate the remains of the Zionist aggression against the headquarters of the Quneitra governorate, but the scale of the destruction and fires is enormous. "Mohammed Saeed", the head of the Quneitra provincial council, announced that the province is currently closed to the Israeli occupation and aggression and can only provide very few services to its citizens. He added: "Communication with the town of Al-Hamidiyah has been completely cut off, and the occupying forces have dug a ditch in the agricultural lands leading to this town so that no one can enter it."

The cruel siege of Syrian citizens in the shadow of the suspicious inaction of the Golani government

This is while the Golani has not even verbally condemned the aggression and occupation of the Zionist regime in Quneitra and other regions of Syria; let alone taken practical action against it. In this context, the head of the Quneitra Provincial Council said that the security forces of the new Syrian government are present in large areas of Quneitra, but they are avoiding clashes with the Israeli army.

He added: Israeli forces burned and destroyed vital documents in the governorate building. While the residents of Quneitra province are loyal to their land, the Israeli occupying forces are implementing a policy of displacement against them and are trying to destroy the people's morale. The Israelis are preventing people from accessing water and basic services, and Syrian citizens in different areas of Quneitra have been cut off from each other.

The local Syrian official said that residents of some cities cannot go to their farms and the lives of livestock are at risk due to the destruction and loss of pastures and water wells as a result of the widespread destruction of agricultural lands and the cutting down of trees.

The wealth of Syrian citizens under the boots of the Zionist occupiers

Quneitra has long been known as the Syrian dairy market due to its livestock products such as milk and cheese. Quneitra is a strategic area with a large open space that can be used to build huge wind turbines to generate electricity, something that the Zionist regime is doing for itself on the other side of the occupied Golan. In addition to military pressure in this area, the occupying regime is also plundering the natural resources and exploiting the capacities of Quneitra, while international parties are not taking any decisive action to confront these blatant Israeli aggressions, and the terrorist regime in the Golan is merely a spectator of the Zionist plunder of this country.
