According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr news agency, Mohammad Raad, head of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, said today in a speech emphasizing the need to confront the Zionist regime’s aggression and occupation on the country’s soil: “The Lebanese people made many sacrifices to achieve freedom, have sovereignty over their country, and achieve progress in Lebanon.”

Mohammad Raad stated in a parliamentary session to discuss a ministerial statement: “The Zionist regime’s brutal war against nations is being waged with the support of America, and no law or Sharia law permits this war. The victory of truth and justice is a moral act that all religions call for.

This Hezbollah representative noted: The occupation regime’s war against Gaza is also a brutal, unjust war that lacks any limits or standards, and all parties must condemn it. Humanity will never forgive the supporters of the Zionist regime’s genocidal war against Gaza, led by America.

Mohammad Raad said: “The supporters of the resistance are not a group of people or society; Rather, they are a mine of values that grow deep in their souls. The last war of the occupation regime against Lebanon, for which the Zionists gave various excuses, was a pre-prepared offensive option that the United States supported.

This senior Hezbollah official continued by emphasizing the need for the Lebanese to refuse to surrender to the dictates of the enemy and said that we are telling the Lebanese government to cancel the decision to prevent Iranian planes from landing at Beirut airport, which was made in response to Israeli claims.

Mohammad Raad continued by addressing the millions of people who attended the farewell ceremony for the martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, and stated that this crowd did not come to the ceremony merely to express their love and affection for our martyred leaders; rather, they came to emphasize that they are faithful to their pledge.

The head of the resistance faction in Lebanon noted: The Zionist regime's army, which is a fully equipped and trained army, could not surpass our fighters in its combat performance against the heroic resistance fighters. We resisted the Zionist enemy and its insane war and inflicted tactical and strategic losses on this regime.

He added: We are still in the stage of evaluating the results of the war, both negative and positive, in order to learn from our experiences and take the necessary measures. The unity of the Lebanese in confronting the policies of the occupiers and seeking ways to protect our country from dangers is essential and very important.

Ra'ad stated: Our resistant nation sacrificed its children so that Lebanon would be safe from the evil of the criminal Zionist enemy. We are proud that our great martyr, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, is an unparalleled leader and a symbol of commitment to the path of victory for the oppressed.

This senior Hezbollah official further emphasized: We are grateful to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support for Lebanon and its people, and this support continues. We are in the recovery phase after the losses we suffered in the war, and the only great pain that remains fresh is the tragedy of losing the leader of the Islamic nation, the martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and our other holy martyrs.

Mohammad Raad stressed that the continued occupation of the Zionist regime in Lebanese soil requires a firm stance and the government must assume its responsibility in this regard. We continue on our national path of loyalty to our people and the martyrs and wounded. We are also committed to working with the government to save the country.
