Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that Iran's nuclear energy program has always been and will be entirely peaceful, and emphasized: "Negotiation is different from bullying and giving orders."
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on his X social network account: Iran's nuclear energy program has always been and will be entirely peaceful, so there is basically no such thing as its "potential militarization."
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran added: We will not negotiate under pressure and intimidation. We do not consider such negotiations even considerable, whatever the subject may be. Negotiation is different from bullying and giving orders.
He stated: We are currently consulting with three European countries - and separately with Russia and China - on equal terms and mutual respect. The goal is to explore ways to build greater trust and greater openness regarding Iran's nuclear energy program in exchange for the lifting of illegal sanctions.
Araghchi noted: In the past, whenever the US treated Iran with respect in its discourse, it received mutual respect, and whenever it took a threatening stance, it faced Iran's confrontation. Every action is necessarily a reaction.
