Sheikh Naeem Qassem: The people supporting the invincible resistance

According to Ashura News, quoted by Tasneem, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah Movement, said in an interview with Al-Manar: The participation of the people in the funeral of the martyrs Nasrallah and Safi al-Din was unique and extraordinary.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added that I ask the people to remain as proud as they have always been, because you are the children of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah.

He noted that despite the conditions and pressures, these people (supporters of the resistance in Lebanon) are seeking martyrdom and no one can dream of their defeat.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said that now I have come to understand more about the depth of the relationship between Sayyid (Hassan Nasrallah) and the people, because they are the most honorable people.

He added that the recent funeral ceremony was a declaration of victory of the structure that we believe in, that we remained steadfast until the last moment and the time agreed upon.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said to the Iranian people that despite the roads being closed to them, they had a significant presence at the funeral, and I send my greetings to the Iraqi people, the Marja’i, the scholars, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the officials of the holy shrines.

He added that he would like to thank the Palestinians, Yemenis, Tunisians, and all groups who participated in the funeral.

The Hezbollah Secretary General said that after the assassination of the Sayyid (the martyred leader of the resistance), I contacted Sayyid Hashem Safi al-Din and discussed the issue of the burial, and we discussed the issue of public trust before the burial as an element and factor of power, and I requested that he become the Secretary General.

He noted that the structure of Hezbollah is extensive and we have very high capabilities, we have many leaders and capabilities, and we recovered after 10 days of enemy aggression.

The Hezbollah Secretary General said that we are conducting research to learn from the past and made changes in the heart of the battle.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said that the resistance reaching Netanyahu's house (sending a drone) shows the strength of the resistance.

The Hezbollah Secretary General added that we reached an agreement and accepted the ceasefire and that the power is still with us.

He emphasized that we were able to fire missiles at any place we wanted, but we chose to only attack military targets.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said that all our goals were in the military battle and our decision was to only attack military targets so as not to give the enemy an excuse.

The Hezbollah Secretary General emphasized that the resistance is in good condition, although it suffered injuries and made many sacrifices.

Sheikh Naim Qassem noted that there are no secret agreements and no clauses under the table.

Regarding the Zionist settlers, he said that more than 100,000 settlers have still not returned to the north (occupied Palestine).

Referring to the aggression of Zionist rabbis supported by the occupation regime’s military in the Al-Abad region in southern Lebanon, Sheikh Naim Qassem said that the arrival of these rabbis is the biggest proof of the fact that we are not facing just a staged aggression, but a dangerous project.

He continued by saying that any agreement between the US and Israel has nothing to do with us.

In response to the Zionist occupiers remaining in five points in southern Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire agreement, Sheikh Naim Qassem addressed the Zionists and said: Even if you remain in these five points, how long do you want to stay? Be assured that this resistance will not allow you to do so.

The Hezbollah Secretary General added that if the occupiers want to remain in these points, they must be confronted through the army, the people, and the resistance.

Sheikh Naim Qassem told some groups aligned with the US that they can do whatever they want, but we will never stop the resistance.

He emphasized that when we say that the resistance continues, it means that the resistance is present on the scene and in the field.

Sheikh Naim Qassem noted that we are in a new stage where our principles have not changed, only the methods, paths and stages have changed.

The Hezbollah Secretary General stated that we will definitely never leave new equations to be established in the Israeli way, but we must establish an equation that protects our future.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said that I say to the people supporting the resistance, we must be patient, your leaders, resistance and youth who stood firm on the battlefield are still present on the scene.

The Hezbollah Secretary General stated that we are under siege and it is a difficult confrontation, but we must look for ways to overcome these problems.

He continued by adding that we want to resume flights with Iran, which is our friendly country, and we are in contact with the Lebanese government to resolve this case.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah said that our relations with the President (Joseph Aoun) are positive, we are trying to cooperate with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, our presence in the government and the vote of confidence in it are within this framework.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added that the US will interfere in all appointments (in Lebanon) and we are examining how to counter this interference.

Referring to the internal developments in Lebanon, he said that we support the existing electoral law, unless better ideas are presented, in which case we will examine it and announce our opinion.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah stated that we will definitely participate in the municipal elections, we agreed with the Amal movement to renew the agreement that existed between Mr. Nabih Berri and the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added that our relations with the Free National Movement (led by Gebran Bassil) have not been severed, we have distinct relations with the Democratic, Marda, and Syrian National Parties, as it should be said that the Progressive Socialist Party (led by Jumblatt) had adopted positive positions during the recent Israeli aggressions against Lebanon.

He said that our criterion and indicator in relations with our homeland partners is the people's choice, which we respect and act on.

Regarding the Future Movement led by Saad Hariri, Sheikh Naim Qassem also noted that there are factors for agreement with the Future Movement, especially that Mr. Saad Hariri is a flexible person and interested in preventing sedition.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah said that without reconstruction, there is no reform or salvation, the government is responsible for reconstruction, and we will help reduce any gaps that exist.

He also praised the Islamic Republic of Iran and its important role and position, warning the United States and the Zionist regime about military adventurism, saying that if the Americans move towards war against Iran, they will suffer great losses and the consequences of this aggression will engulf the entire world.

Referring to the developments in Syria and the conspiracies to divide the country, Sheikh Naim Qassem stated that division and separation are not in the interest of the Syrian people.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah also said in a message addressed to the resistance fighters that you are the crown of our heads and the fruit of the leader of the martyrs of the nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah. You have powerfully defeated the efforts to destroy the resistance.
