Eid al-Fitr prayers will be led by the Supreme Leader at 8:00 AM.
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, this morning, in a meeting with officials of the regime, ambassadors of Islamic countries, and a group of people from different walks of life, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution called the growing dignity of Islam and the confrontation with the bullying and extortion of great powers dependent on the unity and insight of the Islamic nation. Emphasizing the brotherhood of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards all Islamic states, he said: The way to effectively confront the unprecedented crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters in Palestine and Lebanon is through unity, empathy, and common language among Islamic states.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated the Islamic nation and the Iranian nation on the blessed and blessed Eid al-Fitr, calling this Eid one of the points of connection between the Islamic world and the increasing dignity of Islam and its Holy Prophet, and said: The prerequisite for realizing the growing dignity of Islam is the unity, determination, and insight of the Islamic nation.
Referring to the rapid and successive global events, he said: In response to these rapid events, Islamic governments must quickly and accurately determine their position and think and plan for them.
The Leader of the Revolution listed the large Muslim population, abundant natural wealth, and being located in a sensitive geography of the world as important opportunities for the Islamic world, and said: The prerequisite for taking advantage of these opportunities and sensitive situations is the unity of the Islamic world. Of course, unity does not mean that governments unite or that they think alike in all political trends, but rather it means recognizing common interests and defining their interests in a way that does not cause differences, conflicts, and disputes among each other.
Emphasizing that the entire Islamic world is a family and Islamic governments must think and act with this perspective, he added: The Islamic Republic extends its hand to all Islamic governments and considers itself brothers with them and on a general and fundamental front.
Ayatollah Khamenei considered the cooperation and consensus of Islamic states as a barrier to aggression, coercion, and blackmail by aggressors and oppressors, and said: Today, unfortunately, blackmailing and extortion from weak states and nations has become a common and explicit practice of great powers, and in response to this, we Islamic countries must defend the rights of the Islamic world and not allow America and non-America to extort.
Referring to the injuries suffered by Palestine and Lebanon due to the crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters, he stressed the need for the Islamic world to stand firm against these sufferings, adding: With the unity, empathy, and common language of Islamic states, others will take their own actions into account, and we hope that the officials of Islamic countries will be able to form the Islamic nation in the true sense with their own efforts, motivation, and actions.
At the beginning of this meeting, President Dr. Pezzekian considered “honor, pride, unity, forgiveness, brotherhood, and helping the oppressed” to be among the most important teachings of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims. Addressing the ambassadors of Islamic countries, he stated that the task of the Islamic world today is to put aside differences and create a united front against the Zionist regime and the enemies of Islam, and emphasized: The Islamic Republic extends a hand of friendship and brotherhood to all Islamic countries.
In another part of his speech, referring to the slogan of the year, Mr. Pezzekian said: The government will make every effort to implement “investment in production” this year.
Referring to the enemy’s atmosphere-building and psychological warfare aimed at weakening the Islamic Republic, the President emphasized: Muslim nations will never become weak because they rely on God.
