According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, on the morning of Tuesday, March 18, 2025, corresponding to 18 Esfand 1403, residents of the entire Gaza Strip woke up to the sound of bombs and explosions once again. The Israeli regime's ground and air attacks against the strip have left more than 400 martyrs and hundreds injured.

Abdul Latif Qanou, spokesman for the Hamas movement, announced that the occupying and criminal Zionist regime has resumed attacks in Gaza, which have led to dozens of crimes against the Palestinian people, in coordination with the United States.

Martyrdom of Abu Hamza, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement announced: The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, with honor and pride, offers its condolences to the great Palestinian people for the martyrdom of Commander Naji Abu Saif (Abu Hamza), spokesman for the Quds Force, the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, who was assassinated by the criminal army and targeted along with his family and his brother's family.

The statement said: The media knew this martyr as a voice of resistance who was not afraid of anyone's reproach in the way of God, and was eloquent in his eloquence and bold in his courageous positions, and a defender of the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Islamic Jihad Movement announced: This brutal and hateful assassination committed by the criminal Zionist regime is part of their barbaric crimes that have shed the blood of hundreds of innocent people, children and women in the past hours, with the support and encouragement of the US government, while the world is witnessing these crimes in a cowardly and helpless manner, and these crimes will only increase our will to defend the Palestinian people and their rights until the enemy's goals are completely defeated.

Hamas also expressed condolences in a statement for the martyrdom of a number of government officials in the attacks on Gaza.

The Hamas statement reads: The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced: With utmost submission, steadfastness and firm determination in the path of defending our people, land and sanctities, and with patience, consideration, honor and pride, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) with sorrow and pride congratulates and condoles with its great nation in Palestine and abroad, with the Arab and Islamic nations and with all the free people of the world, the martyrdom of a group of high-ranking commanders and prominent figures of the national struggle in the Gaza Strip who were martyred this morning following the brutal and cowardly attack by the Zionist regime along with their families.

Hamas emphasized that these high-ranking martyrs are: Essam al-Dalais, Head of Government Affairs, Yasser Harb, Member of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ahmed al-Hatta, Acting Minister of Justice, Mahmoud Abu-Watfa, Acting Minister of the Interior, Bahjat Abu-Sultan, Director General of the Internal Security Organization.

The statement added: We in the Hamas movement, while honoring the memory of this large group of leaders and prominent figures of the great Palestinian nation in the Gaza Strip, who stood for more than fifteen months in the stronghold of stability and perseverance alongside the people and families of the Gaza Strip and made the most beautiful manifestations of the unceasing effort to serve the people, strengthen security and social solidarity, heal their wounds, and halt and end the aggression of the Zionist enemy, emphasize that the crimes of assassination of the leaders and national figures of the movement and the children of our nation will not lead the Zionist regime to its goals and will not break the will of our nation and its deep bond with its leadership and resistance. Rather, our nation will stand with greater strength and perseverance against the occupying enemy and its aggressive plots.

Hamas emphasized: May God have mercy on this group of Palestinian leaders and national figures who were martyred after years of struggle and adherence to principles, rights, and sacrifice in the service of the Gaza Strip. May God accept them in the battle of the "Al-Aqsa Storm" as martyrs of this holy path and place them in Paradise, alongside the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous, who are the best companions. This path is jihad, either we win or we are martyred.

Reactions; From the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to the Russians

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation reacted to the resumption of the Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation stated: The resumption of the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the martyrdom, injury and disappearance of hundreds of people, among whom are children, women and the elderly, is strongly condemned. What is happening in Gaza is the continuation of the war crimes and genocide committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.

The organization's statement states: We hold Israel, as the occupying power, fully responsible for these ongoing crimes. We call on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take immediate action to immediately stop this aggression and reopen the crossings for humanitarian aid.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation stated: We call on everyone to confront the efforts made to annex Palestinian lands and displace its people and to provide international support to the Palestinian people.

Erdogan: Violation of the ceasefire is unacceptable

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while criticizing the resumption of attacks by the occupiers of Jerusalem on the oppressed people in Gaza, stated: Israel's genocidal policy, which began with the suspension of humanitarian aid to Gaza and ultimately led to the violation of the ceasefire and the killing of civilians, is unacceptable and the international community must take the necessary measures in this regard.

Jordan: Israel must adhere to the ceasefire

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemned the new attacks by the Zionist regime on various areas of Gaza, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Palestinians.

Sufyan al-Qadah, the official spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, stressed: Israel must adhere to the ceasefire agreement at all stages, which was reached through the efforts of Qatar, Egypt and the United States. The continuation of Israeli attacks on Gaza may worsen the situation in the region.

He called on the international community to accept its legal and moral responsibilities and oblige Tel Aviv to immediately stop the attacks on Gaza.

The Jordanian official also called on the international community to oblige the Zionist regime to ensure the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement and restore electricity to Gaza and open the necessary crossings to send humanitarian aid throughout Gaza, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Hezbollah statement

In a statement, Lebanon's Hezbollah condemned the resumption of the Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza.

The statement said: “Hezbollah strongly condemns the resumption of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the targeting of innocent women, children and civilians, even while they are sleeping, while the residents of Gaza are under a cruel siege and severe hunger, which is a clear violation of international law.”

Hezbollah stated: “The decision of Netanyahu’s terrorist cabinet to stage a coup against the ceasefire and resume the war with the full participation of the US government and the shameful silence of the international community is an affirmation of the fact that this rogue regime and the US government are not committed to any commitments or agreements, and that they are two sides of the same coin, thirsty for blood, and know nothing but the language of murder and destruction. This also reveals the nature of the US government and its destabilizing actions in the region through wars against Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen, and its efforts to impose new policies and realities with firepower.”

The statement said: “We declare our full support for the courageous resistance of Palestine and the residents of Gaza.” We call on the Arab and Islamic nations and the free people of the world to expose the complicity of the United States and the Zionists in the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. We call on the international and free community, as well as the United Nations, the Security Council, and human rights organizations, to take immediate action to stop this inhuman crime and to raise their voice to curb the Zionist-American barbarity.

Hezbollah stated: This Zionist enemy, which has failed to break the will of the resistance during 15 years of brutal war, is unable to achieve its goals, and the issue of Palestine will remain the main issue of the nation. This nation will remain a model for all nations of the world in the struggle for the realization of rights and sanctities.

Riyadh and Doha's reaction

In response to the resumption of the Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza, the Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned this action and emphasized the importance of immediately stopping the war, violence, and destruction by the Zionist regime.

The ministry stressed in its statement that it is essential to protect Palestinian civilians from the Zionist regime’s cruel war machine.

Saudi Arabia also pointed out the importance of the need for the international community to act immediately to fulfill its responsibilities and intervene to stop these crimes.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry stressed that ending the unbearable suffering of the Palestinian people must be a priority.

On the other hand, the Qatari Foreign Ministry also strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s move.

The ministry considered this a clear challenge to the international will supporting peace and warned that the occupation’s aggressive policies will ultimately lead to the region’s inflaming and threatening its security.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry stressed the urgent importance of resuming dialogue to implement the ceasefire steps, noting that the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached an unprecedented stage in history, which requires international action.

The ministry concluded by reaffirming Qatar’s steadfast position on justice for the Palestinian cause and the right of its people to establish their own state based on the 1967 borders.

Russia: Israeli and Palestinian sides should return to negotiations

The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Tuesday regarding the resumption of the Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip, saying: Moscow deeply regrets the resumption of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.

The statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry in this regard states: We call on the Israeli and Palestinian sides to return to the negotiations process.

The Russian Foreign Ministry continued by adding: Moscow strongly condemns any action that leads to the killing of civilians.

Being a spectator is a disgrace

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance Movement, in a statement, described the resumption of the war against Gaza by the Zionist crime machine directly supported by the United States as a clear picture of evil, cruelty and rebellion, as well as a violation of human values, ethics and heavenly teachings, whose perpetrators are immersed in bloody and heinous crimes against children and civilians.

The Nujaba Movement warned the Islamic nation, especially the Arab nations, that if they do not take a firm and proportionate stance, Gaza will be wiped off the map at the hands of war criminals, and being a spectator in this ugly scene is a source of shame and disgrace for a nation whose honor and dignity in Palestine is being trampled upon.

Victory is only from God, who destroyed Pharaoh with all his rebellion and tyranny, and led Moses to victory while he was weak and helpless.

Beijing: Israel should abandon force

China's representative to the United Nations said in a statement on Tuesday: "We strongly urge a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."

The Beijing official added: "We call on Israel to abandon its method of using force. We call on Israel to immediately stop military operations and collective punishment of civilians in Gaza."
