The Russian President presented the strategic partnership treaty between Iran and Russia to the country's parliament.
According to Ashura News, citing ISNA, Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted the issue of ratifying the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty with Iran to the State Duma for ratification on Wednesday.
According to RIA Novosti, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko has been appointed as Putin's representative in the ratification of the treaty, and he will present the document to the State Duma.
The Comprehensive Strategic Treaty between Iran and Russia, focusing on economic, political, security and military areas, was signed during the visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezzekian, to Moscow at the beginning of this year.
Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, also announced today that the Russian parliament supports the ratification of the treaty.
