The Ministry of Defense spokesman expressed sympathy for the families affected by the Shahid Rajaee Port incident and said: "No imported or exported cargo with military use was involved in this incident."
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Brigadier General Reza Talaeinik, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support, explained the dimensions of the incident in an interview, while offering condolences to the families affected by the Shahid Rajaee Port incident and the great Islamic nation of Iran, as well as expressing sympathy from colleagues from the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces.
Brigadier General Talaeinik said: According to the available investigations and documents, there were no imported or exported cargo for fuel or military use in the area of the Shahid Rajaee Port fire incident.
Referring to some media creations, he added: Some news creations that are carried out by targeted creation of space by foreign media in line with the psychological operations of the enemies are unprecedented, and the intelligent Iranian nation has always neutralized these media operations.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Defense emphasized: "With the focus of the National Crisis Management Organization and the Ministry of Interior, the main and secondary causes of the Shahid Rajaee Port fire incident, including safety or security reasons, will definitely be announced by national authorities with the help of relevant agencies at the appropriate time." Major General Talaeinik stated: "People should be confident that there were no imported or exported cargo for fuel or military use in the area of the incident and in the entire Shahid Rajaee Port."
