The CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company said: "Sufficient fuel has been stored in oil depots to provide the desired fuel supply for Nowruz, and we will not have a shortage in this regard during the upcoming holidays."
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, Keramat Weiskarami, referring to the start of Nowruz trips, said: "At the same time as managing winter fuel and supplying fuel to consumers in various sectors that were facing gas restrictions, the company has also been responsible for supplying and storing gasoline, and with the storage carried out, we will not have a shortage during the Nowruz holidays."
He added: "Meetings of the Nowruz Travel Coordination Headquarters and the Special Working Group for Nowruz Fuel Supply are being held at the National Petroleum Products Distribution Company, and the necessary internal and external coordination is being made in order to provide appropriate services to compatriots during these days."
Referring to the readiness of the company's infrastructure and facilities to provide passengers with the desired fuel in various land, sea and air areas, the CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Distribution Company said: Continuous visits to fuel supply stations are being carried out as part of the Nowruz fuel supply monitoring plan at the headquarters and operational areas of the National Iranian Petroleum Distribution Company in order to ensure the complete readiness of these stations.
Regarding the forecast of Nowruz gasoline consumption, Weiskarmi said: Since the beginning of this year, an average of 124 million liters of gasoline have been distributed in the country daily, and it is expected that this number will increase to an average of 132 million liters daily during the Nowruz travel period (March 15, 1403 to April 15, 1404).
He expressed hope: With the necessary arrangements and planning, we hope to witness favorable conditions for Nowruz fuel supply to our compatriots.
The CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company emphasized: In the provinces of Bandar Abbas (eastern part), Kerman, and Sistan and Baluchestan, which are subject to the coding plan, sufficient emergency cards have been made available at passenger refueling stations.
