In this telephone conversation, the Tunisian President, while exchanging Eid al-Fitr greetings to the President and the people of our country and wishing all Muslims to benefit from the blessings and good deeds of this great holiday, said: The Tunisian people have always supported the legitimate rights of the oppressed and innocent people of Palestine and Gaza and have stood by them; the oppressed Palestinian people must establish the state of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.
Saying that we must try to stop the genocide of the Palestinian people and the terror in this land, Saeed Qais praised the Palestinian people's resistance despite all the crimes against these defenseless people and noted: The Palestinian people are the original owners of the Palestinian land, and today we are witnessing that, beyond the ineffective positions of international organizations such as the United Nations, defending the rights of the Palestinian people and humanity is dominating the international space.
The Tunisian President, expressing his hope that the Palestinian people will achieve a 100 percent victory and gain their God-given rights, said: I hope that with the unity and cohesion of all Muslim nations, the Palestinian people will also achieve their rightful rights.
Recalling his memorable meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution during his visit to Tehran, he stated: The Tunisian government will spare no effort to expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
