Over the past two days, Masoud Pezzekian has been trying to be a herald of the call for "Islamic unity" by establishing numerous contacts and discussions with the leaders of Islamic countries.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with officials of the regime, ambassadors of Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, called this Eid one of the points of connection between the Islamic world and each other and a cause for the increasing dignity of Islam and its Holy Prophet. He considered the large Muslim population, abundant natural wealth, and being located in a sensitive geography of the world as important opportunities for the Islamic world, and said: The necessity of taking advantage of these opportunities and sensitive situations is the unity of the Islamic world. Of course, unity does not mean unifying governments or their coming together in all political trends, but rather it means recognizing common interests and defining one’s interests in a way that does not cause differences, conflicts, and disputes between each other.
Over the past two days, Masoud Pezhikian, by establishing numerous contacts and talks with the leaders of Islamic countries, is trying to open a door in shaping maximum interaction and empathy among the Islamic countries of the region by highlighting the opportunity of Eid al-Fitr as a valuable common ground, and in other words, be a herald of the call for “Islamic unity.”
Relying on the brotherhood approach of Muslim countries using Islamic teachings, hoping to use the potential of Eid al-Fitr for maximum unity and cohesion of Islamic countries regarding regional events, especially the Palestinian issue, and emphasizing the importance and priority of the Islamic Republic's cooperation to enhance relations with Islamic countries in the region are among the themes emphasized by the President of our country in his talks with the leaders of Islamic countries today.

In a telephone conversation with the Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Al Thani, Masoud Pezshkian congratulated him and the nation on Eid al-Fitr, expressing hope that the holy month and Eid al-Fitr will strengthen the unity and cohesion of Islamic countries. He stated: "We feel brotherhood with all Islamic countries in accordance with the advice of the Quran, and on the other hand, in accordance with the advice and narrations received about neighbors, we attach great importance to strengthening good and friendly relations with neighbors." The President added: "Based on Islamic beliefs and convictions and the advice given in these beliefs about good relations with neighbors, we are ready for any cooperation to expand relations in various fields with Kuwait and other neighbors in order to deepen and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and neighborliness." In a conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Masoud Pezshkian congratulated him and the people of his country on Eid al-Fitr, expressing his hope that the blessings and fruits of the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr will strengthen the unity and cohesion of Islamic nations.
The President stated that we are seeking to further strengthen relations with neighboring and Islamic countries, adding: We are eagerly awaiting your visit to Iran and face-to-face consultations and discussions on ways to expand cooperation between them.

In a telephone conversation with King Abdullah bin Hussein of Jordan, Masoud Pezshkian congratulated him on Eid al-Fitr and wished him and the people of his country an acceptable Eid. He stated: I hope that the fruits of the holy month of Ramadan will lead to greater cohesion and unity among Islamic nations and their consensus to provide more effective assistance to the oppressed nations, especially the innocent people of Palestine and Gaza. We consider all Islamic countries to be our religious brothers.
The President, while expressing concern over the violation of the ceasefire and the resumption of the Zionist regime’s brutal crimes against the defenseless people of Gaza, and condemning the statements made about the future of Gaza, including the forced displacement of people in the region, added: “Continued contacts between the foreign ministers of the two countries can help strengthen and bring closer the positions of Iran and Jordan on various issues, including in supporting the people of Gaza; the Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no effort to strengthen relations and expand cooperation with the friendly and brotherly country of Jordan.”

Stating that the Islamic Republic attaches great importance to strengthening and expanding relations with its neighbors and Islamic countries, the President added: We are eager to further develop relations with Bahrain and will not spare any action to facilitate and accelerate the expansion of cooperation between them.
