Riyadh reacted strongly to the Israeli Minister of Internal Security's attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to Ashura News, citing the "WAS" news agency, the Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned in an official statement, in the strongest terms, the attack by the Israeli Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben-Gwer, on the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupying forces.
The ministry also considered the Israeli regime's action in expelling worshippers from this holy place as a sign of the regime's continued blatant aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and a violation of its historical and legal status.
Saudi Arabia also condemned the occupation forces' attack on the clinic affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Jabalia and emphasized that the continued attacks on international organizations and relief forces are a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
The statement emphasized that Saudi Arabia rejects any attack on the historical and legal status of the city of Jerusalem and Islamic holy sites and emphasizes the need to support humanitarian and relief organizations.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed its disgust at the Israeli regime’s blatant violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque and strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on the UNRWA medical center in northern Gaza.
Riyadh called on the international community to stop the Israeli war machine, which disregards human values and international law, and to hold the occupiers accountable.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry warned that the international community’s failure to prevent these dangerous and successive attacks will jeopardize peace, undermine the legitimacy and credibility of international law, and have a negative impact on regional and global security and stability.
