Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed sympathy towards Sierra Leone over the death of tens of people in a tanker explosion.
According to Ashura News, quoted by IRNA news agency, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh on Sunday expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of tens of Sierra Leone nationals in a tanker explosion.
Khatibzadeh expressed sympathy towards the government and people of the country, as well as the families of the victims.
Media reports suggested on Saturday that a tanker was exploded in Sierra Leone, killing at least 90 people and injuring tens of others.
