In order to address the Guardian Council's objections, the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly considered exceptions to the closure of Thursdays.
According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, in a public session today (Wednesday) and to address the objection of the Guardian Council, the parliamentarians amended and approved Note 3 of the bill amending Article 87 of the Civil Service Management Law.
According to the parliament's resolution, all executive agencies, including headquarters and provincial ones, with the exception of military, law enforcement, security units, operational departments of service units such as banks, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs, hospitals, health centers, and sports facilities, are required to set their working hours for 5 days a week from Saturday to Wednesday.
The complete list of operational departments of service units will be prepared by the country's administrative and employment organization from the date this law comes into effect and will be approved by the Cabinet.
