The President spoke with his Turkish counterpart by phone and said: "I hope the Muslim nation of Turkey and all Muslims around the world will benefit from the goodness and blessings of Eid al-Fitr."
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, this Saturday afternoon, in response to a phone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to congratulate him on the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, Masoud Pezzekian expressed his gratitude for the phone call and said: "I hope that you, the Muslim nation of Turkey and all Muslims in the world, will benefit from the blessings and good deeds of this great Eid."
The President, wishing that the prayers and supplications of all fasting people, including the President and the people of Turkey, will be accepted, added: "I hope that an opportunity will soon be provided for a face-to-face meeting so that we can discuss and exchange views on issues of mutual interest as well as common regional and international issues between the two countries in order to deepen and strengthen relations."
In this telephone conversation, the Turkish President congratulated the arrival of Eid al-Fitr and wished the Iranian President and people's prayers and worships to be accepted. He also asked the President of our country to convey his congratulations and wishes to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and stated: I ask God to make this Eid blessed and prosperous for our friends and brothers in Iran and all Muslim nations.
Referring to the holding of the Iran-Turkey Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation in the coming months, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: In this meeting, we can discuss and consult in detail on bilateral, regional and international issues of interest to the two countries.
