According to Ashura News, citing ISNA, the Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the Israeli regime has martyred more than 150 Palestinians since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement on January 19, 2025, of which 40 people have lost their lives in the past two weeks.

The office announced in a statement: "We have observed that the occupiers have deliberately increased their field crimes against civilians in the recent period, especially by targeting civilians who were collecting firewood or checking their homes, which led to their martyrdom at the hands of the Israeli army."

The Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip condemned the crime in Beit Lahia, calling it a continuation of the occupation regime's war crimes against the Palestinian people and a new escalation of aggression.

The statement emphasized that this escalation of attacks indicates the previous intention of the occupiers to commit crimes and their disregard for international laws and treaties.

The State Information Office in the Gaza Strip stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not only continued to blockade Gaza and prevent the people from meeting their vital needs, but has also intensified attacks and direct killings of civilians.

The organization rejected all the propaganda claims of the occupation regime and emphasized that the targeted team was completely civilian and was present in an area where a settlement center was located. The team was carrying out a media documentation mission for a charity and was not present in an area that was prohibited or threatening to the occupying army.

The organization warned of the continuation of the occupation regime’s crimes and called on the mediators and the international community to assume their political, legal and moral responsibilities to stop these ongoing violations against the Palestinian people.

The Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip also called on the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to take immediate action against the crimes of the occupying regime and its leaders, including the regime's Prime Minister, who is being prosecuted by international justice for committing war crimes against the Palestinian people.
