UN agencies, including UNRWA and UNICEF, have stated that the scenes of the killing of Gazans in Israel's attacks this morning are horrific, citing the critical situation of civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially women and children.
According to Ashura News, citing Tasnim News Agency, following the resumption of the brutal aggression of the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stressed the importance of respecting the ceasefire agreement and allowing aid to enter the Gaza Strip.
UN Humanitarian Coordinator Mohammed Hadi also condemned the occupation regime's inhumane aggression against Gaza and stressed that these attacks are unacceptable.
The UN official said: The ceasefire must be resumed as soon as possible, the violent actions must end and humanitarian aid must enter Gaza, and a ceasefire is the only way forward.
On the other hand, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) also announced in a statement: The scenes of the killing of civilians, including women and children, in Gaza during the morning Israeli attacks on the Strip are horrific.
UNRWA stressed: Creating hell will only bring more despair and suffering, and a ceasefire must be established immediately.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) also announced in its new statement: What is happening in Gaza is very heartbreaking and terrifying, especially for children who have suffered deeply from 15 months of war.
UNICEF emphasized that the health system in Gaza has been completely destroyed and hospitals are unable to accept and treat the wounded.
The international organization continued to emphasize the need to return to the ceasefire and immediately lift the siege on Gaza.
Palestinian press sources reported that during the brutal Zionist attacks on Gaza, which began in the early hours of Tuesday morning, several families were completely erased from the civil registry, and the official death toll has been announced at 412, with hundreds more injured and missing. In light of the occupation's continued aggression throughout the Gaza Strip and the lack of adequate medical equipment and facilities, the number of victims continues to rise.
