Sanaa: Iran has absolutely no interference in Yemen's decisions

Rejecting repeated US claims that Iran influences Sanaa's decisions, the Yemeni Foreign Minister emphasized: "Iran has no interference in our decisions, and Yemen's operations against the Zionists are an independent decision and will continue until the siege of Gaza is broken."

According to Ashura News, citing Tasnim News Agency, while Yemen adheres to its position in supporting Gaza and continuing the naval blockade against the Zionist regime, regardless of any threats, aggressions, or pressures from the United States, Yemeni Foreign Minister Jamal Amer announced in a speech that the Yemeni armed forces will not reduce or stop their operations against Israeli ships in the Red Sea under any circumstances.

In an interview with Reuters, the Yemeni Foreign Minister responded to US claims that Iran influences Yemeni decisions, saying: "There will be no talk about reducing Yemeni operations against the Zionist regime before the Gaza blockade is lifted. Iran absolutely does not interfere in Yemeni decisions, although it sometimes mediates in some cases, but there is no dictation."

The Yemeni official clarified: There are messages from some powers to reduce tensions, but now Yemen is in a state of war with the United States, which means we have the right to defend ourselves with all possible means, and escalation of tensions is also possible.

He said: We will respond to the United States in a reciprocal manner, and for example, if the Americans attack Yemen from the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman, we will target this ship.

Regarding the role of Arab countries in the US aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Foreign Minister also stated that Saudi Arabia or other Arab countries have not yet intervened militarily in this regard, and the Yemenis also welcome this position, but we warn the Arab countries that if they fall into the trap of the US for military intervention against Yemen, we will have them all within our reach.

Jamal Amer emphasized: "If a plane or base is used against us, we will respond and defend ourselves appropriately, but if Arab countries continue to refrain from military action against Yemen and cooperate with the United States in this regard, we will have nothing to do with them."

Following the continued brutal aggression of the United States and Britain against Yemeni civilian centers, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of more than 100 Yemeni citizens over the past 4 days, this morning, Wednesday, "Yahya Saree," the spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that the country's army had launched a large-scale missile and drone operation after monitoring the movements of the US army in the Red Sea.

Yahya Saree said: "The movements of the US army were aimed at preparing for a large-scale air attack on Yemen. In this operation, which was carried out with a number of cruise missiles and drones, the American aircraft carrier "USS Harry S. Truman” and a number of warships were targeted. This is the fourth attack on a US aircraft carrier in the past 72 hours. We emphasize that the US aggression will not prevent Yemen from fulfilling its religious, moral and humanitarian duties towards the Palestinian people.

Before that, the Yemeni army targeted the Navatim air base in occupied Palestine with a supersonic ballistic missile “Palestine 2”, which, according to Yahya Saree, successfully hit its target.

A new round of missile and drone operations by the Yemeni army resumed on Sunday, marking the beginning of the massive US invasion of Yemen. The heavy US air and missile attacks on Yemen began on Sunday morning (March 16), which is considered the heaviest US attack on Yemen, and according to the Yemeni Ministry of Health, 53 people were killed, including 5 children and two women. 98 people, including 18 women and children, were also injured in the attack.
