Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi emphasized Iran's pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian resistance.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, in a speech referring to the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the Palestinian people, emphasized: Iran has played a fundamental and pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian people and fighters.
Referring to the pressures of the enemies against Tehran, Al-Houthi added: The enemy is well aware of the importance of Iran's role and is trying to prevent it from playing this role by applying maximum pressure, but Iran's position has been constant and unchangeable since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Referring to Quds Day, the leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah also exposed the weak positions of some Arab and Islamic governments and said: "This year, on Quds Day, the passivity and indifference of Arab governments towards the crimes of the Zionist regime became more apparent than ever before. This weakness is seen at the official level and among many Islamic countries."
He strongly criticized international institutions, especially the United Nations and the Security Council, stating: "Not only have these institutions failed to take action against the Zionist crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, but by continuing to recognize the Zionist regime, they continue to legitimize this criminal regime. The United Nations must revoke any recognition of this regime and expel it from the international community."
Al-Houthi continued by pointing to the courageous stance of some free countries in the world, saying: "Countries such as Venezuela, South Africa, and Colombia have adopted a humane and decisive stance by cutting off political and economic relations with the Zionist regime and pursuing its crimes judicially, which is commendable."
He concluded by emphasizing: "We appreciate the steadfast and decisive positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting Palestine and believe that resistance is the only way to confront Zionist aggression."
