According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidy announced in a message on X after the end of the indirect talks between Iran and the United States in his country: I am proud to announce that today in Muscat we hosted Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and US President's representative Steve Whittaker, and we mediated to begin the process of dialogue and negotiations with the common goal of concluding a fair and binding agreement.
The Omani Foreign Minister continued in this regard: I would like to thank my two colleagues for this interaction, which took place in a friendly atmosphere and led to the convergence of views and ultimately achieving regional and global peace, security, and stability.
He continued: We will continue our cooperation and make further efforts to achieve this important goal.
