According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami stated in the Friday sermons of Tehran's political prayer: This year, like in previous years and more magnificently, the Quds Day march was held. In 1979, the Imam declared the last Friday of Ramadan as Quds Day. In a situation where the arrogant world wanted Palestine to be forgotten or at least remain an Arab issue, the Imam thwarted this conspiracy with his great strategy.

He continued: Today, in 900 cities and towns of the country and thousands of villages and even tribes, everyone marched. During these days, people from 80 countries of the world marched and shouted "Death to Israel."

The Friday prayer preacher in Tehran said: Quds Day marches have been held in all countries of England, France and Germany.

Khatami added: This march was one of the manifestations of monotheism and love for God; It had a political precedent, in which people showed their religious zeal, and this march also had a social precedent. People sympathized with the oppressed of Palestine, but more importantly, this gathering also had a Quranic precedent.

Ayatollah Khatami continued by stating that this is the Iranian nation whose slogan is “Death to Israel,” and he added: “Zionist criminals kill children born next to their mothers. We cannot be present in the war with them, but this march shows that we are on the scene and sympathize with your pain and suffering.”

Referring to the warm and sincere presence of people on the Nights of Power, the Friday prayer leader in Tehran continued by saying: “According to statistics, this year’s Nights of Power ceremonies have been held in great splendor. Your “Bek Ya Allah” have insured and continue to insure the country. This presence has exposed the lies and insinuations of the enemy and shown that spirituality and humanity are alive in this country. Our new year has been blessed with the name of Mawla Ali (AS).

He said: We thank the people for their magnificent, dignified and honorable presence.

He added: We also thank the people's servants during Nowruz. We witnessed one million servants, including law enforcement, health centers, security officials, the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, the Red Crescent, and so on. We also appreciate the "No to Accidents" campaign, which was a God-pleasing act and resulted in a 20 to 30 percent reduction in accidents. Of course, this campaign should be alive throughout the year.

Khatami stated: The short message from the leadership last night prompted me to mention Quds Day in the second sermon. The leadership emphasized four things: 1- Quds Day is a symbol of the Iranian nation's authority, 2- The Iranian nation has stood firm on its lofty goals, 3- The people are present in all circumstances (in heat and cold), 4- Nations are supporters of the revolution. Therefore, this march revealed all the mischief of some Western governments.

Referring to the naming of the new year, he added: These namings are not a ceremonial matter, but rather show the strategy of the year. This year's naming is also economic. The enemy has focused on the livelihood of the people to strike through this loophole, so this naming is to close the enemy's loophole of influence.

Stating that the solution to livelihood problems is production, he said: The honorable government should provide a secure investment platform. Profitable investment, in this case, people will not spend their money on land, currency, and gold.

He continued: Another issue that is effective in realizing the slogan of the year is economic stability and laws and regulations. Investing in production requires economic security. Investors must be sure that they will not be harmed by this.

Khatami continued: Another issue in realizing the slogan of the year is the issue of exports to neighboring countries, which plays a valuable role in investment and is one of the practical examples.

Referring to Farvardin, the Islamic Republic Day, the Friday prayer leader in Tehran said: "The Imam (may Allah have mercy on him) said that this is Eid and the nation must keep this day alive. An anti-Islam, anti-moral, anti-independence, and anti-people regime ruled the country, but thanks to the blessings of the Islamic Republic and the people's vote, it has been consigned to the dustbin of history."

Khatami stated: Iran is the only country whose government type was determined by the people. You don't know of any country in the world that has a referendum on their government type. More than 98 percent of the people said "yes" to the Islamic Republic. The Imam said that the Islamic Republic is not a word less and not a word more. Peace be upon the soul of the Imam who placed Islam in the structure of the system.

He continued: Let's not neglect keeping the Islamic Republic Day alive. The country's propaganda officials should hold ceremonies so that people can participate. Those who participate should talk about the blessings of the Islamic Republic.

Khatami said: There are only two or three more days left until the end of Ramadan. To those who broke their fast, I say: Come to God and repent.

Referring to Farvardin 13, which is Nature Day, he added: On this day, people go to the lap of nature; nature should be a place of remembrance of God, not a place of neglect of God.

Our prayer today was adorned with the presence of the heads of the three branches of government. The perfume was of Martyr Nasrallah and Martyr Khemed Ayatollah Raisi, whose daughters gave speeches.

Khatami added: "The nations are supporters of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, but some governments pretend that there is a dispute in Iran and that Iran has become weak. The enthusiastic presence of the people in the International Quds Day march neutralized all the conspiracies of the enemies in this regard."

Referring to the statements of the Commander of the Faithful (may Allah have mercy on him), the interim Imam of Tehran emphasized: "Hazrat Ali (AS) says to keep the essence of God Almighty private, God hears what you say, and if you hide something, He knows."

Referring to Trump's threats against Iran, the Friday prayer leader of Tehran stated: "The newly elected US president is constantly threatening as if this gentleman's gene is the gene of threats, and it is strange that he does not understand that these threats have been ineffective, are ineffective, and will remain ineffective."

He said: "He who has God has no fear, and we are not afraid of the pharaohs of the time. God has thwarted the enemies' plots against us since the beginning of the victory of the revolution, and our capital is faith in God and a vigilant and awake leadership. We also have a strong support by having such people."
