Amir Heydari: We will soon unveil special weapons

According to Ashura News, citing Mehr News Agency, Amir Kiomars Heydari, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, explained the characteristics of the army after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and its role in protecting the achievements of the revolution in a press conference held this morning. Referring to the blessings of the Islamic Revolution and the guidance of the Imams of the Revolution, he said: Today, our army is known as a school-based, revolutionary, and visionary army.

He added: Our dear leader said that the army is a righteous lineage that has its roots in the glorious and honorable past of this institution.

Referring to Farvardin 29, Army Day, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Army noted: This day commemorates the command of our venerable Imam, who invited my comrades in the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran to respect and honor the people.

He also emphasized that the army has been present in the fight against the counter-revolution without interruption, and the first counter-revolutionary slogans were also raised against the army.

Amir Heydari continued by referring to the country's history and said: The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a blessed entity, born from the blessings of the Islamic Revolution and the Messiah's breath of the dear Imam, has been able to prove its sovereignty in the fight against the counter-revolution.

He also reminded that the army's fight against the counter-revolution has not yet ended, and in the imposed war, the army immediately appeared at the borders and prevented the expansion of the enemies.

Victory in the Siege of Abadan and the continued readiness of the forces

In his press conference, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army pointed out the importance of the army's victories during the Holy Defense and its role in defeating the Siege of Abadan, and said: Our army, with the grace of God and especially the heroic ground forces, prevented the enemy from achieving its predetermined goals at the beginning of the Holy Defense.

Emphasizing the sovereignty of the army, Amir Heydari referred to the Siege of Abadan and added: This siege was one of the most prominent days of our army's victory. Our great Imam also said that this siege must be broken. After the defeat of the siege of Abadan, the ID card operations began, which showed the strength and readiness of the army during the Holy Defense.

The commander of the Army Ground Forces also pointed out the continued presence of the forces after the end of the war and said: The ground forces are still in the field to stand against the MKO. From 1975 to 2005, we confronted these threats in oppressive conditions and without media coverage of our activities.

He noted that the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready to serve the nation and maintain the security of the country.

Continuing his press conference, Amir Kiomars Heydari, Commander of the Army Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referred to the importance of the army's victories during the Holy Defense and its role in defeating the siege of Abadan and said: Our army, with the grace of God and especially the heroic ground forces, prevented the enemy from achieving its predetermined goals at the beginning of the Holy Defense.

Amir Heydari emphasized: Today, our forces are also stationed in the heights of the west, southwest, and northeast of the country to ensure sustainable security. We have reached a level of strength, power, and deterrence that the enemy can no longer covet our country.

He also referred to the Supreme Leader's emphasis on the ground force and said: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution emphasizes three keywords and has pointed to mobility, efficiency of units, and responsiveness to practical needs. We have invested in this direction to have a mobile and powerful ground force.

The commander of the Army Ground Force noted: Changes have been made in the overall structure of the ground force so that we can move beyond traditional forces and achieve a new structure that is capable of responding to Today's challenges.

Transformation to a mobile offensive and rapid reaction force

Amir Kiomars Heydari continued by pointing out the fundamental changes in the structure and weapons of the Ground Force and said: We have transformed the operational needs today into a mobile offensive and rapid reaction force. There is no trace of the traditional land-based units of the past in the mobile offensive ground force.

He added: This force has 100 percent mobility and 100 percent attack and endurance capabilities. For this purpose, we need special weapons that cover these two features.

Amir Heydari emphasized: With intelligent planning and in accordance with the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, new weapons have been introduced to the Ground Force, which instead of old weapons have four key features.

The Ground Force Commander continued: The first feature of these weapons is the range, which allows us to reach our targets from a distance. The second is their intelligence. Artificial intelligence and making equipment smart are integral to the armed forces, especially in the ground forces.

Referring to the network capabilities of weapons, Amir Haidari also stated: All our weapons are pinpoint and intelligent and are organized in such a way that they have the ability to be networked and aligned with each other.

He stated: Today, our ground force has an agile, mobile and attacking structure that benefits from intelligent pinpoint and network-oriented weapons.

The commander of the army's ground force noted: With these capabilities, we can, as a strong force in the footsteps of the province, protect the essence of our holy Islamic homeland on land, air and sea and hold any aggressor accountable.

Unveiling special and efficient weapons in future wars

Amir Kiyomars Haidari emphasized the importance of the province in the armed forces and said: The spirit of the province and the province-oriented in our warriors is becoming brighter and brighter day by day, thank God. Today, we believe that the mere existence of forces is not effective, but we must be completely obedient to the province.

He added: All our pinpoint, intelligent and networked weapons have either been designed and produced by domestic scientists or have been mass-produced in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense. This is why today, thank God, our country's armed forces are the best supporter of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic in the guise of the province.

The commander of the ground forces continued: This divine power and our joint forces allow us to act with power and authority in various fields. Our dear leader has repeatedly emphasized that we are not an aggressor armed force, nor do we intend to occupy and invade other countries, but we will not allow any evil enemy to invade and invade.

Heydari noted: With the grace and help of God Almighty, we are ready to defend the integrity of our beloved homeland and to be severely responsive to any threat.

Continuing his press conference, the commander of the army's ground forces explained the engineering and health capabilities of this force and said: Today, we have very good power in the engineering discussion in the ground forces. Engineering plays a major and fundamental role in war, and fortunately, the engineering of the ground forces has been multiplied to the extent that each group can suffice for the ground forces alone.

He added: We have created five engineering units so that we can utilize this equipment and facilities in the four corners of the country. These units are the first units to come to the aid of the nation in difficult times, such as earthquakes and crises. During the Sacred Defense period, our engineering units also performed very well and sacrificed 171 martyrs in clearing minefields.

Pointing to the importance of paying attention to health and medical matters, the commander of the ground forces stated: Army hospitals have a high level of knowledge and experience. During the Corona period, 12 thousand experienced personnel helped the Ministry of Health and Treatment, and we built eight hospitals in this regard. Today, the ground forces have 28 specialized and super-specialized hospitals, of which we have built and renovated five new hospitals in recent years.

Amir Heydari also announced plans to hold a grand parade on April 19 in 24 provinces of the country and said: "Our effort is to bring the new achievements and innovations of the children of the army to the attention of the great nation. We invite the people to attend this ceremony." He noted: "Soon we will unveil special weapons that will be very effective in future wars. We hope that with the presence of our dear commanders, this unveiling will bring joy to the great nation."

If the enemy makes a mistake, it will be targeted precisely

In another part of his speech about the readiness of this force to face threats, the Army Ground Force stated: Relying on our own internal talents, we followed the orders of the Supreme Leader, and today we have special weapons to confront threats, and at any scale, if the enemy wants to make a mistake, it will be targeted precisely and intelligently.

He added: Today, the Ground Force has a professional and educated human resource, and a huge range of soldiers are also serving in the Army Ground Force as children of this nation.

Referring to the capabilities of the Nizaja in the missile field, Amir Heydari stated: The Ground Force has 23 categories, which means that the weapons that exist in the Nizaja must be able to respond to threats. Today, we benefit from missiles that can be used at the scale of the Ground Force, and these missiles are also smart and pinpoint.

He continued: "In the field of anti-armor, we are also equipped with weapons that are capable of confronting enemy armored equipment, and these weapons also have advanced technologies such as fire and forget."

Regarding the program to block the country's eastern borders, the commander of the ground forces said: "This program is intended for the common borders with Afghanistan, and it is intended to be implemented at the edge of global technology, and it is not just a four-meter-high wall, but is equipped with various weapons at the edge of global technology. This program is intended for four years, one year of which has passed, and will be completed in the next three years."

Some of our weapons, such as anti-aircraft equipment and drones, are equipped with artificial intelligence.

Amir Haidari described drone developments as another part of the force's capabilities and stated: "One of our most effective and superior weapons is drones. Today, we have various long-range and pinpoint drones." We produce various types of drones ourselves, and these drones are in the weapons portfolio of the ground forces.

He clarified: Artificial intelligence is being exploited as a dominant phenomenon in various fields today. Today, the Army Ground Forces, by utilizing knowledge-based companies and good scientists of our country, are seriously pursuing the issue of artificial intelligence, and we have made good investments in this field. Of course, today, some of our weapons, such as anti-aircraft equipment and drones, are equipped with artificial intelligence.

Regarding holding joint exercises with neighboring countries, the Commander of the Army Ground Forces said: This issue has always been on the agenda of the Army Ground Forces, and we consider neighboring countries as our brothers in faith. Last year, we held joint exercises with the Republic of Azerbaijan and Oman, and this year, several exercises with friendly countries are planned.

He said: Today, we were able to equip our helicopters with night navigation systems and long-range missiles manufactured by Nezaja, and we have made major investments in the manufacture of missiles, navigation systems, and the production of helicopter parts to double the production volume.

This year, the production volume of helicopter parts will be doubled

In response to the question of what the Army Ground Forces are doing to fulfill the slogan of the year, the Commander of the Army Ground Forces said: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution introduces each year with a very effective slogan and a very bright light. This year, he also emphasized investment in production. The Ground Forces have production relations with 104 knowledge-based companies, and our effort is to both increase the number of these companies and focus the Ground Forces on producing what they can.

Amir Heydari added: We in the Army Ground Forces have a long history in the production of helicopter parts. This year, a stronger investment has been made in the production of helicopter parts. Helicopters are considered a support and a real fulcrum for the armed forces and our country. We were able to equip our helicopters with night navigation systems and also with long-range missiles, which are produced by the ground forces themselves.

He clarified: This year, in accordance with the Supreme Leader's emphasis on production, a major investment has been made in the production of helicopter missiles and night navigation systems. We also invested very seriously in parts so that this year we can double our circulation compared to last year.
