The Leader of the Revolution expressed regret for the lack of attention given to the category of interpretation in seminaries, called Tasnim's commentary a source of pride for Shiites and seminaries, and expressed their appreciation to Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and the group of scholars of this interpretation.
According to Ashura News, quoted by Mehr News Agency: the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the meeting with the organizers of the International Tasnim Conference, which was held on March 4, 1403, were published this morning at the venue of this conference in Qom.
In this meeting, the leader of the revolution honored the distinguished personality of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, the great commentator of the Holy Quran and the author of Tasnim commentary, and considered the seminary indebted to the efforts of this wise scholar in his more than 40 years of research, teaching and authoring of Tasnim commentary and added: Of course, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's activities in the field of intellectual and narrative sciences and his jurisprudential, philosophical and mystical works are all important and worthy of appreciation, but none of them can be compared to his work of interpreting the Qur'an.
Ayatollah Khamenei called Tafsir Tasnim a source of pride for Shia and the seminary, and in expressing some of the characteristics of this Tafsir, he said: The power of rational thinking of the respected commentator has helped a lot to understand the subtle and subtle points hidden in the verses of the Qur'an. Also, this commentary is similar to Al-Mizan's commentary, but more up-to-date and more extensive, full of useful and useful information, and actually a comprehensive encyclopedia.
Ayatollah Khamenei considered it necessary to prepare and write a technical and thematic list for optimal use of the content of this reference commentary.
Expressing his regret for the lack of attention given to the category of interpretation in seminaries, he honored the memory of Allameh Tabatabaei, owner of Tafsir al-Mizan, as the founder of the Qur'anic interpretation and concepts in seminaries, and noted: holding about 200 lessons of Qur'anic interpretation in Qom seminary is good news and good news that this approach should be strengthened and sustained.
The Leader of the Revolution called it necessary to complete the Arabic translation of Tafsir Tasnim for its use in the Islamic world and expressed his gratitude to Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and the group of researchers of this Tafsir.
At the beginning of this meeting, Ayatollah Arafi, the director of the seminaries of the country, presented a report on the holding of the Tafsir Tasnim conference and the special features and approaches of this Tafsir, including the thematic and approximate approach and its contemporary perspective.
Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Saeed Javadi Amoli, the head of the "Israa" Institute, also delivered a report regarding the way of writing and editing Tasnim commentary and the research groups that have been involved in this field.
Tafsir Tasnim is the authorship of Hazrat Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, which is compiled and written in 80 volumes. The authorship of this commentary is the result of 40 years of teaching and research by Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and the cooperation of dozens of scholars and researchers in the form of research groups, which is included in the "interpretations of the Qur'an by the Qur'an". The author's method is to mention the desired verse or verses and examine them in four stages: "excerpt of interpretation", "commentary of the verse", "notes and references" and "narrative discussion".
