France 24 website, in a report referring to Sunday's burial ceremony of martyrs Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyed Hashem Safieddin in Lebanon, described it as a symbol of Iran and Hezbollah's show of power. France 24 continued: It is expected that people's participation in the funeral ceremony of the late leader of Hezbollah will be widespread. Tens of thousands of mourners from Lebanon and abroad will attend this ceremony.

On the eve of the funeral, huge portraits of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddin - who were martyred in another Israeli airstrike the following week - were placed on walls and bridges in south Beirut. The capacity of the stadium where the ceremony is held is about 50,000 people, but the organizers of this ceremony have added thousands more seats in this place and outside it, and mourners can watch the ceremony through large television screens.

Since Saturday, the roads leading to Beirut were filled with vehicles of Hezbollah supporters from the group's bases in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. A security source said that 4,000 security forces and personnel will also be stationed at the venue. Hezbollah has invited senior Lebanese officials, including President Joseph Aoun, to attend the event.

France 24 wrote: Iran's media also reports that Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Council of Iran, will attend the ceremony. It is also expected that the representatives of the main groups supporting Iran will also be present in Iraq And more flights have been made between Baghdad and Beirut. This European media introduced Martyr Nasrallah as one of the founding members of Lebanon's Hezbollah in 1982, who became famous in the Arab world in May 2000 when the Zionist regime ended its 22-year occupation of southern Lebanon with relentless attacks by Hezbollah under his leadership.

France 24 added: In the southern and eastern regions of Lebanon, where the majority of the population is Shiite, Hezbollah still maintains its loyal followers. Maryam Shorba, an 80-year-old supporter of Hezbollah in southern Beirut, told AFP that she would attend the funeral of Seyed Nasrallah "regardless of the circumstances".

He said: This is a difficult day, because (Martyr Nasrallah) is very dear to us. No matter what we do, we cannot do him justice. France 24 quoted Sheikh Ali Zaher, the coordinator of the organizing committee of this event, as writing: Along with hundreds of thousands of mourners who are expected to participate in this event, representatives from "nearly 79 countries" including Iran will be present.

The New York Times reported from Lebanon today that it is expected that tens of thousands of people from all over Lebanon and the region, including high-ranking Iranian officials, will attend the ceremony this afternoon. The ceremony will start from the largest sports stadium in Lebanon in the southern suburbs of the capital, which is decorated with two-story tall posters of Martyr Nasrallah and slogans about the continuation of the resistance.

According to Hezbollah officials, after the ceremony at the stadium, the body of Martyr Nasrallah will be buried in a private cemetery nearby. The New York Times wrote: This funeral ceremony will be held five months after September 27 (October 6) and Israel's action of dropping 80 bombs on Martyr Nasrallah's shelter. By killing him, Israel removed a leader who enjoyed a legendary status among Lebanon's Shia Muslims. His death was one of the important moments in the confrontation between proxy forces and Israel.

This American newspaper said: The funeral ceremony of Martyr Nasrallah's body seems to reflect the power struggle in Lebanon and Hezbollah's exploitation of it as an opportunity to reassert itself as a political force. As crowds of Nasrallah supporters are expected to take to the streets to prove their loyalty, Hezbollah is also looking to send a message: Although its leaders are dead, its coffers are empty, and its Syrian ally, Bashar al-Assad, has been toppled, the group will survive.

In this regard, Reuters television and news agency gave the following headline: Tens of thousands of people mourned Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah by holding a large funeral ceremony.

Reuters wrote: Tens of thousands of people gathered on the outskirts of Beirut on Sunday to pay their respects to the former leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.
